2nd Annual Firefighters’ Ball at the San Diego Convention Center

San Diego, California, Convention Center

It is time to prepare for the 2nd annual Firefighter’s Ball at the San Diego Convention Center. This event will include a VIP cocktail reception at the showroom of the San Diego International Auto Show. There will also be a live concert by Davy Jones of the Monkees, a stunning special-effects show from the Xceptional Music Company, plus gourmet food and wine, and a midnight champagne toast. This event, while absolutely magnificent, is actually for a very good and important cause–to help to support some of San Diego’s bravest men and women and their cause.

The funds that will be raised from this event will help firefighters to pay for life-saving equipment, tools, and training. They will also be used to help firefighters keep up with the latest technological advances in the event of fire, natural disasters such as floods, etc, and to help the critically ill and injured. A firefighter’s duties are many, much more than just putting our fires. They need equipment to rescue people from disasters, assist in finding missing or abducted children, even to rescue animals that have been placed in danger. So, as you can see, the funds raised in these efforts go a long way in helping the firefighters to do their job as effectively as possible.
